ReplyDeleteSInce our half sizes didnt arrive the same time as the whole shipment then it means it will be arriving at the warehouse soon.... Its a minimal qty though since their just halfsizes.
ReplyDeleteWe still pay homage to CRATE since they get really good stuffs that we werent able to get like the KOSTON DUNKS. We still got alot of inquiries if we were bringing them in but since were not we referred them to CRATE which will release today...

ReplyDeleteYeah its gonna be a monthly release na always.. We will always be uploading posters for monthly drops..I will also ask my officemate who handles the account what are the next drops. I only help her out since i handle wakeboards and wakeskates for the store. It just so happened that I myself collect shoes since 3 years ago..

I dont think REPUBLIC got the account of 5-0..Im really not sure regarding this. One things for sure if REPUBLIC can send the whole 6.0 riders 3 years back to the country even without the account , what more with SB's. I hope WELEGENDARY AND REPUBLIC would work together to get things done faster....

ReplyDeleteJust to clarify, Crate doesn't have an official SB account. They do parallel. The only official retailers are we Legendary, Five-O and Republ1c. The rest are resellers.

ReplyDeleteI dont really mind that sb would spread.. I just dont like it to spread the way supra did with all the FAKES.. Although there are already fakes its not as prominent. I think thats what people mean when they say JEJEFIED rather than it being mainstream..

ReplyDeleteFakes wont stop me from collecting sneakers. If it did, I should have stopped buying SBs 3 years ago. I wouldnt mind people wearing fakes or admitting to you that they are... but atleast I can wear my pair with a piece of mind that mine's are not... I think it all boils down to what you have and not what others wear....

However, this site was made since DEC of 2009 to market the brand EPIPHANY....However, busy schedules before I worked with REPUBLIC stopped me from blogging on this site. And now that Ive started with them, this is my way of helping my officemate get the word out that REPUBLIC has an account already. If we talk about originality then I think no one is, since most of the skate shops internationally does this to promote the stock they have to their customers. Blogging is just one good way to market it. Most big skate shops, say like PREMIER and PRIMITIVE does this aswell. They get a pic, some "lightbox images", when the stocks arrives at their HQ..Also, it is always an SOP with REPUBLIC that when a release happens, we take photos and send them to our principals.... so whats stopping us from following that marketing move proven that it is successful?
Jejefied comments...hahah. every time I read this word it makes me smile. I read some comments saying that it's nice to have a new account here and some comments against it...To all who made a negative comment saying that YOU DONT LIKE IT TO SPREAD, well my question is - are you the first person in the country to wear one??? if not, then Im sure that you saw someone wearing one or read it in one skate/street magazine.
Like supra before, everyone was crazy about em... but to be honest I never had 1 pair in my life. Back to my point, when supra was young in the country it had its followers aswell and I know some people who were before but because it turned mainstream, they're now on the opposite track. They hate it because everybody can get them locally. My point is - if you love something, like me SB since day 1 (3 years ago,after collecting basketball shoes) I wouldnt mind seeing more people wearing them. Although it would be better if only a certain few would have it(having an exclusive feel) but we cant change the fact that eventually it will spread.
The fact that there are 3 retailers now in the country means that there will be more supply. More supply means more SBs on retail for all.. How do you think you would feel if your next in line and the shop ran out of your size?? I know this is one essential part of camping out or lining during a release, but not all can afford the alternative solution which is go to resellers and pay atleast 2k more...
Thats why most of my customers before would come to us asking if we still have this shoe since they cant get it locally.
REPUBLIC since day 1 has always been supportive of different sports. I read a comment saying its always about the moolah with republic. But then again the organization is not greedy when it comes to its moolah. They try to build world class amenities and bring them closer to its users. Like the XVIB skate which is an indoor skatepark, a new CABLEPARK (YEHEY!!) closer to manila and much more in the years to come. This was all made to help us improve in our chosen action sport so that we can compete internationally.
Im sure REPUBLIC has nothing against WELEGENDARY or 5-0...3 stores are not competing with one another since each store has its own client base and loyal customers. To add, each has its own identity and belief in running a business,being passionate and living the lifestyle of each brand. May it be WAKE, SURF, SKATE, STREET and other sports that each store will tap soon....

ReplyDelete@ anonymous - I dont think SB and SUPRA will mix...I will for one attest to that move if it does occur. They wont blend for sure and I dont think 2 companies will like the idea.. Collabs will only come from PRINCIPAL COMPANIES and not DISTRIBUTORS or RETAILERS.
ReplyDeleteAgain we are not starting something with other shops. We are in the same industry and should work together. The owners and riders of other shops are friends with owners,riders and employees of REPUBLIC. Some even skate at XVIB and hangout there...

If they get their stuffs first then good for them, this is not a race to see who releases first. As long the SBs are released and people get what they want then I think its a win-win situation.
