So today was the release of the NIKE SB AUGUST collection. This features 4 pairs of shoes from janoskis, blazers, bruins to dunk mids. All went well but the spotlight was on the TIFFANY SB JANOSKI. With only 20 plus pairs for grabs, sneakerheads lined up from 7 in the morning. I passed by to check the store around 9 and there was a line from the doorstep to the parking lot.

Damn! What a stressful day. Woke up late around 930 then hurried down at the shop to see people gathered around outside already. The release turned out good. Most of the guys went out with a smile and a pair of their green janoskis, while others missed out on their sizes. But its all good, try to come earlier next time guys...

Was able to remember I had my camera so took a few shots till noon then went straight off to REPUBLIC TRINOMA to install the 10 DEEP window display there and fix some of THE HUNDREDS stuff.

Rapper Wale, who is a recognized athletic sneaker connoisseur, was spotted rocking the Nike Deion Sanders Diamond Turf 2 sneakers in the trailer for his upcoming mixtape titled “More About Nothing”, which is set to be released on August 3rd. What went down today - July SB Release

So the store opened 10 AM today and a number of people got to the SB wall right away. A few minutes later, some Nike dunk low chrome ball sizes were gone. Throughout the day people were coming in and out the store to check what new stuff we have. Both experienced and new sneakerheads flooded the place to see what we can offer them. It's nice to see some customers walking in not knowing we have NIKE SB already and getting shocked. But the best part is, newbies like them gets to appreciate the shoe and learn about the sneaker scene....

Finally, we got our first shipment of NIKE SB. I got to say that Prod 2.5 takashi is clean as fuck. Born in the USA dunks are sweet aswell however I think it needs a little tweaking and creativity from owners. Chromeball lows are simple yet elegant as well.

So today, we just received news that REPUBL1C will be releasing its ever first line up of NIKE SB. July release SB's are all good, but be on the look out for the TAKASHI PROD 2.5 colorway. I must say, this shoe caught my attention. Having missed that colorway on the dunk release years ago, I might opt for this PROD 2.5

To tie together a massive project for The Hundreds involving the DeLorean Motor Co., the Los Angeles-based brand has created a custom version of DeLorean’s easily recognizable DMC-12. Marked by a stainless steel and gullwing doors, this special version features The Hundreds’ own popular Black JAGS pattern in tonal form on a black paint job. The car will be exhibited on Thursday, December 3rd at The Hundreds Los Angeles and Saturday, December 5th at The Hundreds San Francisco. Eventually the car will be sold to any serious inquiries.
